Ah - so it was YOUR oil I was struggling to keep the car on the tarmac on - amazingly hard work when people were under- & oversteering off in all directions - I was staggered at how bad conditions were from midday on Monday nuts

Would you guys do it again?

Porsche of course biggrin a front-engined one - and I don't mean a Cayenne - 944 possibly a 968.

I'm only at the finding-out-costs stage, and it's significantly more than a 2CV 24hr, but do you fancy a go...?

Slippery slope this racing business. biggrin

Very tempting. Have checked the dates and I'm away that weekend. Not sure whether that's a good thing or a bad thing hehe

Thanks for the thought though.

Oh yes - I think it started with the ARDS 'test' - the only testing thing was parting with wedge for not exactly a lot in return other than the certainty of spending even more - so yes a very slippery slope!

First weekend in July, and it's Spa woohoo

I'd need extra waterproof stopwatches for that smile

would have thought this weekend would have been good training.

the Fun cup is a good series - the cars are a little more powerful than a 2cv wink... but still causes the safety car problems having to go slow enough (last race i marshalled for the final race last season the Safety car had to slow to about 40mph to allow the back markers time to catch up!)

Pah! Don't mention the safety car - I was caught twice behind it at just the wrong time which meant a car got away and another caught up!

However Spa... cloud9
