Considering the, erm, somewhat beery "help" we gave you erecting your tent, I'm amazed that it stayed standing! smile

I will see that red card and raise you 2 nights in a tent at pf07 _after_ working an 8 hour shift and then spending 12 hours in the rain on a motorbike,100 of it filtering thru traffic (which is 10 times harder and 10 times slower) and another 4 hours in the rain and shit traffic on the way home.

and not a windscreen wiper in sight.....

Soooooo, what Pikey said , and try p0wning that biglaugh
... and a flag pole

Heh, Tent wasn't ours and our name would have been mud if it got destroyed. We were starting to take damage when we were taking it down./ I'm annoyed we missed the band though. Next year we're gonna rent a big van and just sleep in that.

That's where you went wrong, see. Once the tent is up, it's much safer to leave it up in high winds. You could've done the band, and then taken it down on Monday when the winds abated. biggrin

The wind was pulling the pegs out faster than I could hammer more in, forcing the flaps open, pulling the zips open and we were taking on water. We were also under the impression that it got worse after we left. Pfft, renting a van and getting a genny is the way forward. At least then we've got something to do when the weather kills off the drinking and socialising wink
