me and vixpy were crusing at 80-100mph most of the time, acting like hooligans and never once had a problem, except for the dodgy fuel that made the car lumpy.... Suprised that we had no issues.

I wrote the MINI off last night on the a14, backwards into the crash barrier, aquaplaned in a tramline and it span it into the barrier frownfrown
Sorry to hear that. frown If it's any consolation, the Cooper S had the same problem but I was going quite slow as I didn't know where the speed camera's were and it probably saved me.

We left at around 20:00 on the Sunday after cramming the remnants of our tents in the car. Roads were quiet and I had a moment on the A14, pitch black, overtaking a lorry to find a tent in the fast lane of the motorway.

I was fortunate that the lorry's lights gave me a slight advance warning of something in front, so swerved back just in time to miss it.

Looks like me and Mark where one of the few who had a pleasant drive home. We generally cruised home although I did have a few moments where I had to have a bit of fun wink
The lack of wipers did make for some interesting moments but it wasn't bad.

Sorry to hear about the mini Silent1, and sorry for losing you when you called to tell me, I was at my mum's which doesn't have much mobile coverage.
