Anyone experienced difficulties getting your car on the Norfolk Line ferry? We've been told that cars might not get on if they're too low!

All the ferries I've been involved with have dealt with the Ultimas low height without problems. In one case they packed out a dip using planks of wood and the load master laying in the road, in the pouring rain, checking that all was good underneath. I see no reason why Norfolk Line should be any different.

I caught my lip spoiler on the ramp leading to the top deck. Ask them to put you on the lower deck when you drive on and the guy is directing you.

Norfolk Line are usually very good with limited ground clearance cars, but some couple of their new Samsung boats have a sharp apex to the top of their ramps to the upper decks. Best to make sure they know by putting it on the on-line booking form and telling them at check-in. If you are at the back of the loading queue, they may not have the choice of where to put you.
