PH Saturday meet

It's nearly time for the next PH ‘Sunday’ Service

This weekend (30th June), we’re taking over the Heritage Motor Centre at Gaydon, Warwickshire. The event is on the Saturday, not Sunday, so henceforth we’re calling the event ‘Saturday Service’ to avoid any confusion...

Last time, around 500 cars turned up, so we’re looking for a similar – if not better – turn out this time around.

Entry to the event is free, and it’s only £6 to take a look around the museum which has only just reopened after a major redevelopment. We’ll have access to the café and toilets as well.

Kick off is at 9.30am with the event running through until the early afternoon.

So come along and talk, look at and breathe cars. And just remember, it’s on Saturday, not Sunday…

A map to find the Heritage Motor Museum is here

Haven't been to one of these before. Is it just a turn up in your car, poke around other people's P&Js and generally talk cars? Sounds good.

Only problem is I would imagine the rain might keep some of the exotica away...?

Anyone concerned about the weather should take a look here before they leave:

http://www.metoffice.gov.uk/weather/uk/radar/index...

You can click the "play" icon to see what is heading towards wherever you may be. Very handy for knowing what the next few hours has in store.

It is actual data rather than a forecast too so you can count on it being accurate.

Anyone know the best way to get there from Bristol? Are there going to be any convoys?

(If I go) I'll be going from Stroud way - reckon on going thru Cirencester and up the 429 thru Morton in Marsh. Goign on the M5 is two sides of a triangle really..

Thanks for that, But I'll thinking I'll have to knock this on the head, after a week I still haven't received my new tax disk (I forgot to get it last month yikes) and knowing my luck it'll come through the door at 12 o'clock tomorrow rolleyes

But, I really want to be there....Would you risk it?

I would say about 20 cars max.

That's excluding Garlick's Z4 and the P15 COM bus.
