I was suprised how few cars turned up - presumably due to the weather? Bit of a shame really - I braved the rain in the Atom, so I don't know what excuse people in cars with roofs have! wink

Blimey! we have more than that turn up for our regular fortnightly Midlands meet at the pub. I would have come, but was at work this AM.

Well the museum was quite interesting - you'd not have known there was a car meet happening though. It didn't even rain that much confused

Great day and a good run with the cars up from Bicester.

Unfortunately the lasting memory will be my son and I going to get tickets for the go-karting and when I asked if that was also discounted for PH members... I (within earshot of my 11 year old son) effectively got bollocked for the PH'rs doing donuts, handbrake turns and wheelspins around the car park as you left.

Thanks guys - I doubt they'd welcome another PH event in the future. rolleyes

Pistonheads - coming to an Asda car park near you.

Really disappointing, where was everyone? I thought for a moment when I came down the drive to the museum it had been cancelled you wouldn't have realised anything was on. Its not as if its really rained today and I brought the TVR as well which dislikes coming out in the rain frown

Very, very disappointing turnout. frown

I can't imagine that it is the weather (heck, we've had hundreds at Virginia Water in the snow before) so that leaves either the day or the location as the culprit.

Perhaps it would be more popular as a Sunday Service as before?

Or perhaps it is only the southern PHers who are prepared to come to meetings? wink

Regardless, I thought that the venue was excellent for this type of meeting - all we need are some people to turn up. rolleyes

Oh, and no donuts people. nonofurious

Were the doughnutters necessarily PH members or people who'd heard about a meet with supercars in attendance?

Personally not fussed about the day but the weather was the deciding factor for me to be honest. Didn't fancy the drive is what has been really bad weather. Add to that having got soaked at Le Mans and then Goodwood two weeks running ...

You have to remember taht it was Super Car Sunday at the same venue just 2 weeks ago. People with exotica dont like coming out in the rain let alone going to the same venue.

I still think it should have been IN the Midlands, at Donnington wink
