Thanks Craig for a great day at VMax.

Fantastic day Craig. Must let me know your secret with the weather!
Hopefully posted a 189 (without fat passenger to witness!) in the (muddy) 996TT S Cab.
Only a few witnesses to my brief visit to the grass. Thought I'd got away with it until I clocked the wheel arches full of turf and the mud all up the sides.
Hope no one got nabbed by the old bill on the bridge over the M1 just a I joined it going south.
OPC on Monday for a new clutch.

Craig, once again thanks heaps for organising a top day out. I managed 156 in my bargain bucket special. That's 1mph more than the limiter, so that'll do.
Thoughts go out to those with mechanical issues: hope the wallet bashing isn't to severe. This includes chap whose name I didn't get (green stripey top, grey Pork 911) who had ground to a halt with a sick engine on the the A14 slip.
Nice to meet those I've met before, and to make the acquaintance of a few new folk too.
Cheers,

Just got home on the back of a recovery truck. No idea how serious yet but didn't sound good. Will know Monday.
Marshy - Thanks for stopping, nice touch.
Not all bad - caught up with a lot of people, met lots of new ones and managed to break my record for a 172mph...!

Craig and the vmax team were excellent as always, you guys really do know how to throw a good party !!
Yeah thanks Craig and gang - brilliantly organised as always - how many cars were there today!!!
Sorry to hear the tales of woe, hopefully the cars will be fighting fit soon!
Sun burnt - at VMAX - again! Great isn't it! Oh
Thanks Phil, Adrian and Dave for the rides in the GT, Nob. M400 and GT2 RS respectively. Awesome cars all of them (but the GT just pips it )
And to Leon for the demonstration of what a truly quick car looks like as it accelerates away from you at 140mph as though you are standing still. That car Sir is simply the best..... 209mph?

Thanks Craig for a great day... My first outing think I got ~160 with the limiter in place and 172 delimited in the E55. Suffered from major heat soak - much more than I thought I would (running more boost than stock). Also discovered rear tyres were catching outer rear wheel arches and tripping the ESP in the corner on to the straight ... anyhow still managed to keep it going. My friends SL55 got 184 or 186 - not sure ... very nice.
Erm when is the next one ? Time to get modding...

just back - thanks to craig and team for a great event and to David for taking Annmarie out in his F430 - it made her day - unfortunately I couldn't improve on 170mph
Thanks to Annmarie for pointing out I was braking too soon, got 179 and 178 next two runs, had been doing 174/175!Thanks loads to Craig and the gang, another amazing day. I find it almost too much to comprehend; all the assembled exotic metal.
Thanks a lot to TB, Phil, Kenny, and Ruxpin for the rides in C GT, Ford GT, 993, and Elise respectively .... awesome
Big up to DeR for drives in the venerable B5 and M6
Well happy with the 195 from the Banana
Congratulations to Leon, incredible

Another superb day.
Slightly sunburnt, managed 161 out of the Dallas-mobile. Must try it on my own rather than with passengers.....apparently theres a terrific shot my neighbour took of the speedo off the clock! I'll post it as soon as I've got it.
My thanks to all drivers who gave Dave and / or James a passenger run.
Thanks to Craig, Andy and James for a quality day.

Great day as usual Craig and all. Thank you very much for your organisation.
Many thanks for the rides MOD and TB. The C-GT is an amazing tool . Incredible noise, pace, cornering etc...and the stability at 190 was very impressive. The 993tt at 193 was interesting .....!!
Was very pleased with the little elise - 5mph up on last time (still onle 126 though ..... ) Handling much improved with new tyres.
Great day.
