Isn't it about time for another Ide Hill meet?

Haven't had one for a while and they always attract a good turnout.

As I'm making the call, I'm free on 2nd/3rd and 4th weekends in August - so who's in and what's your preference?

The date has now been confirmed for Sunday 19th August - arrival 11:30am onwards. For those who haven't been before, here is the link to The Woodmans website:

We usually get around 60-80cars and have on occasions surpassed 100. This time around we've coordinated the dates with the Kent Re-Run which is going on early that morning. They'll either be finishing at The Woodman or joining us after they've finished, so the numbers are likely to be pretty high along with the exotica rating.

Make it the 4th Sunday and that coincides with the south east cob meet so we can meet at the arsegroper then pop up to the Woodman to meet up with you guys and add a bit of noise to the occasion !!!!!

Hi all, if anyone doesn't know me I'm Jay and I organised the Kent run this year which was a pretty decent success story. Groomi has contacted me and asked if I'd consider merging the next Kent Run (called the Re-Run) and this Ide Hill meet.

I'm up for it.

Assuming Groomi's still ok with this, both events will run on August 19th - the Kent ReRun in the morning, ending up at the Woodman at Ide Hill.

Gone a bit quiet in here, shirley we can pull more than half a dozen cars together? (Although we always get more cars than confirmations on here)

Perhaps whoever it was that organised the BBQ with the landlord last time around could try again, that might create a bit more interest?
