Come on Vixpy - I'd like to run against an E46 M3 to see just what the difference is (and silence all those "328's are slow as shit" people)...

Knowing my new engine would be complete I was looking forward to perhaps getting an invite to this next Vmax, but even the best layed plans go astray. at 6500rpm it all went tits-up,my first Dyno failure.
Not despondent the peak at circa 8000rpm should be nice & the Torque yikes. A liner moved & took out a gasket, no other damage. Will I ever compete in a Vmax, I hope so.

All competitors that make it I wish you well, maybe next time.

I'd dearly love to Craig ... but I don't think my new jallopy will be all spruced up, delimited, tweaked and ready to roll in time frown

Would be quite fun as it's quite aerodynamic ... with some sort of Germanic V12 smile

Would love to see a log of that against boost (assuming you're running forced inductions!)...

The run was aborted so didnt bother with all the gen. 2.7bar & no surge so that all the way.
Turbo is GT40/88.

When the BAR in your engine is greater than the BAR in your tyres you know it's an interesting engine....

Running it on interesting fuel, or just really low compression?

Was kinda interested in where meaningful boost is developing from - looks to be ~4500rpm which is pretty good for near 3bar of boost!

Quite cool in a retro late 80's kinda way - nice lines. That would have been a comfy beast for LM!

Always thought the 850 looked pimpin' rollin' on AC Schnitzer Dubs. yes

Word.

Hmmm...then again I remember them looking more like this.

One of the cars I was considering had those wheels but I don't think they suit it the best. Apparently the Alpinas that are on it are not quite 19s ... but it does have a sports back box apparently ... and I bet it still flys through sound regs biggrin

Craig - I will drop you an email v.shortly smile
