The event is not really aimed at monster tuned cars - you've got TOTB for those. This is about factory standard supercars. 90% of the TVRs running are standard, and so its only fair to pitch them against similar standard cars. As TVR owners we see Porsche 911s, Lotus Esprits, Ferrari's, Lambo's, Vipers, Vette's, Nobles, Ultimas (cough!), AMGs, M series BMWs, Audi RSs etc as fair game. Modified Supras/Skylines etc are undoubtedly very fast, but doesn't prove much really.
You really should take something for the cough Longbow, I'll bring some Strepsils with me laugh

You could have written that in Italian, but then nobody going to this would understand it.

It would be good if a Bug Veyron gave it a shot.

I haven't seen the list of cars taking part (is there one) but I also hope a speed 12 turns up.

I'm personally hoping Noble's surprise a few people. I'm pretty sure they'll be a few leaving rubber on the runway yes

I wonder how many cars will be tuned to within few bhp's of melting their engines....I'm thinking Skylines and Supras running >1000bhp.

Open the glovebox and fold your rear seats flat (for better weight distribution) and you should easily see another 35MPH at the end of the strip.

Im just about to book up with the Tuscan, going to talk my mate into coming along with his (genuine!) 500bhp 3000gt, having been out in it a few times I have a horrible feeling he is going to make me look very very slow.

having said that I'll try and get my business partner to come along in his carrera 4S, and I'll make him look slow! smile

Hi All,

I originally had a lift arranged for this day that has sadly fallen through.

Is there any chance one of you decent chaps could give me a ride?

There's obviously a pint or two in it for you.

Many thanks,

David.
