Means that Alec would like us to sort something out for the Britcar 24hrs at Silverstone on the 19th to the 21st of September, and has suggested that we get in touch with blokey at Silverstone to book the campsite.

Any infinitely patienced, lots of spare time on their hands, done this sort of thing before and willing volunteers? We could even start a win a car competition

From what I can tell - the 2cv 24 hour race will be held the weekend of the 9th, 10th August - see http://www.2cvracing.co.uk/

No doubt it will still be wet in August

You could be waiting a long time for the weather to improve! From what I hear it was so bad at Pistonfest that a Lotus Elan got flooded.

To be fair to the Elan? Nope, cancel that, I think it was so used to the water on the outside it decided that water inside the coolant system was a foreign object, which is why it dumped it all just before I part- ex'd it
