Given it was the seed of the disillusion with Haymarket, does anyone truly think it will happen again?
Why don't we just organise our own? How difficult can it possibly be? Plenty of people seem to make it to Le Mans, and that doesn't get organised by PH does it? We wouldn't even need to worry about things like ferries with PF. Unless we make the mistake of going to Norfolk again. In which case we might need a ferry to get back.Kermit power said:

Of course, I would under normal circumstances be more than happy to step forward and help with the organisation, but given that we've just had a third baby, I'm too knackered to think straight. Plus I know absolutely nobody who owns a field.
Wasn't someone posting a thread about what to do with their field recently? I think I just found the answer!
ETA: Here it is! Would an acre in Kent be sufficient, do we think?

Can I suggest that SOMEONE associated with the running of PH as a "business" actually RESPONDS to this thread?
http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&t=501257&i=60This includes me asking the question, and Garlick saying "no plans at the moment, wait until summer".
I would've thought waiting until summer to plan an event for which you ideally want summer weather is leaving it a little late, so I suggest we take Charlie up on his kind offer of organising an unofficial PF08 at the Britcar 24Hr.
Well done Vixpy! That's what being a PHer is really about!
