An excellent day out with perfect weather to boot thumbup Unfortunately I didn't manage to mingle or chat to any other Pistonheaders, as I met up with a few friends and went around studying the exotica on offer! It looked as if the majority of SELOC arrived in the top end of the car park hehe Very nice 240Cup with Red Bull Racing livery parked up opposite myself ... Also loved the sound of the supercharger in the Ultima GTR and when Tbops gave it some welly away from VW in the Enzo cloud9

Next time I will mingle more!

By the way, anyone here driving an Elise towards Legoland at about midday see someone wave at them furiously from a silver Elise S1? That was me! biggrin

Was a good meet indeed and a good array of cars on display in the sunshine.

Would also like to just say thanks to tbops & Robatr0n and any others that made this possible following their phone calls and liason with the relevant people clap

Roll on the next one smile
It was nothing really, I just dropped them a few phonecalls and emails so as they wouldn't whinge about us turning up unannounced....even though they didnt stick to their part of the bargain!

Next time I shall give em a call much further in advance and keep pesturing them to make sure they don't forget!

Oh and I would like to thank you for bringing the Lotus Carlton! I adore that car and it is in such prestine condition. biggrin

Was your wife driving on the way out? missdiane and myself were standing outside the pub marvelling at the condition of your Elise. Have you had it resprayed?

Superb shots James!

However, even though they are great photos, they will never justify how good this thing looks in the flesh.

sounds like it was a good day. Unfortunately my day wasn't a good. On the way to VA i stopped for petrol and my passenger managed to rip my door off by bouncing it back off its hinges!!! Im not happy to say the least. I had to turn around and come home as the door was dangerously hanging on. The tvr is now in dream machines to be repaired, which will take 3 weeks!!!! Not a good day!

Hi guys. Was a good little meet that happened even though me and my dad turned up about an hour late frown

And yes the queue getting out of the car park was diabolical but at least we we able to be the first at the lights, turn left and give the RS6 some welly on the way up the road biggrin

Speaking of which, was it me or did I see that Lotus Carlton pulled over on the M25 today? Indeed if it was sorry to see it been pulled by what appeared to be police? Not too sure though

Hiya guys, cheers for the words about the car and yes it was me that got pulled over by the old bill on the M25 on the way home cop, but don't worry its all good.

I gave it some beans past the Marinello Ferrai dealership and they must have clocked it, but they mainly pulled me over regarding the number plate. To be honest though that was a minor point and all they wanted to do was talk about the car clap. For once these were some good guys and we had a good laugh and one of the guys used to work for Vauxhall back when they came out so he got a bit excited to say the least.
The funniest bit was at the end one of the guys on the station came over the raio and said
"do I hear you've just pulled ove a Lotus Carlton"
the cop goes
"yes thats correct we are speaking to him now"
the guy on the radio then goes
"tell him to give it some beans when he leaves and see if you guys can keep up" hehe

Her's a pic my mate took
