Is it really just 5 cars....

Is it the whole pie on the beach thing taking numbers?

There's some non PH people coming along as well. I know of a Griff and a Cobra replica that are likely.

Sad news is that I know someone who is really keen to join us in his new Murcielago - but he's on holiday next week. Should be a welcome addition to the next Somerset/Dorset run though...

Aaaaaaarh !

The bits for the Chimaera gearbox are taking an age to get and the Tuscan has developed a misfire, less than a week after a service.

I may be car less by the weekend and I don't fancy a 200 mile trip with a misfire :weep:

If I am not there don't wait for me.

You could always ride on the back of Denny's bike, Bob!

My nice new Porsche has problems - currently at AFN - not sure if we'll make it. Don't fancy doing it in the Merc.

Update to follow....................!?

Gutted to hear that Bob. Hope there's a cheap and quick fix to it.

Steve.

Sorry everyone but we're going to rearrange this for a later date.

Looks unlikely that Bob can make it with his car problems, Buster seems to be in a similar position and now I have been called abroad on business. Thub, Yertis, Denny - can you confirm that you've seen this post please. And if any of you know anyone else who was planning to turn up can you pass the message on please.

I'll arrange for someone to be at Cartgate on Sunday morning to meet anyone who still shows.

Any suggestions for a date in September or October?

Okay John - I was thinking that a postponement might not be a bad idea given the way things were working out.

Any weekend in Sept / Oct would be fine aside from the weekend 5-7th September which, of course, is the Goodwood Revival.

Certainly a good plan.... didn't fancy flying around in the E-Class barge

Await new dates - Goodwood is a no-go and also the following week as I'm in Monaco.

Otherwise - GREAT!

How about Thursday 4th Sept? Works for me anyway
Venue? Good pubs round here are like hens' teeth. Maybe try the Rose & Crown @ Trent as per the Saunter route. Think you know it Bob. Would that work?

Right, revised date for Saunter. Sunday October 19th.
Shout if that's a big problem for any of you. Otherwise I'll open a new topic with that date tomorrow.

4th Sep Rose & Crown @ Trent sounds good to me. Alternatively the pub at Mudford is not too bad now its been refurbished (can't remember the name). Popped in there with Shamus on the way back from Yeovilton museum visit.
