Final Call for the "BIG V8" Meet, this Sunday 11th November at Runnymede (Junction 13 M25). Kick off at 8:00AM for the early birds.

Details are:

As Virginia Water is a no go due to foot & mouth (Piston Heads usual meeting place), then this second choice is only a mile away on the A308: The Public Car Park between Old Windsor and the Runnymede Hotel is open next to the river. It's a good spot with lots of FREE parking.

From the Runnymede roundabout follow directions towards Windsor on the A308. Drive PAST the Runnymede hotel (don't park up in their car park - that isn't the place we are meeting!) and you will see the big public car park on the right. You will see a sign on the right marked "Pleasure Grounds & River", pull in there and park to the left hand side.

Exact address is: Runnymede Pleasure Grounds, Windsor Road, Egham Surrey TW20 0AE

It was nice meeting everyone and Ed's Gransport was very nice indeed, I really want to trade in for a Maserati now, if only I wasn't so young. I would also definitely be up for the go-karting.

Steve, I tried waiting for you on the way back but you disappeared on the little roundabout before the tunnel, looks like I missed out on some fun in tunnel, never mind.

Good to see you guys this morning - some lovely cars! I'll remember the blat through the Blackwall tunnel for some time to come- Fezza and yellow chim blaring-out noise in front and that mega GTA behind! Hope you all got home safely and look forward to the next meet.

Great meeting up with everyone. Seemed to have lost a few guys whilst driving to the drinking location.

Next time we'll decide in advance where we'll go for drinks in advance and create a route map so no one gets lost. We have a great location in mond thanks to Beau. Details coming soon.

Next meet will be at Christmas.

We'll also be doing a go-kart meet as well in the Docklands area. Please post up if you are interested and we'll get further details.
