As noted by Allan, 193mph for me today (thanks to Allan and Mitch for tweaking assistance on the day) with numerous 192's as well.

What did we do on Sundays before VMax ? Hit the M1 around 7:30am and the sight of the Zonda and the DMS (?) 997TT pulling out in front of me brought a smile to my face...then having the chance to see how my car performed against Leon's RT12, the LP640 and the CGT on the track made it for me.

Now, if only the traffic home had been kinder - PCCBs were exhibiting a worrying squeak by the time I reached home frown

Thanks again Craig - another spectacular selection of car porn laid on for us all.

Anybody know the CGT & Zonda speeds ?

Pretty sure the Zonda had some issues regarding his front nose grounding at 160ish.

On the runs I did with the CGT the best I saw was the same as mine - 193mph. I think it was a touch quicker on accelaration to be honest.

Happy to help, I was really pleased to see your car run something like 10 or 11 back to back runs all mid 192 MPH confirmed in either lane and on your own GPS as well as the official timing gear. Well done.

Sadly for me a blown cylinder head gasket after 4 runs messed up my day, but saw 180 on the clocks before easing off through the gates at 157 I think, wish I'd known about the extra run-off straight on. Very impressive cars, venue and organisation, just wish the Ultima had lasted longer.

I saw 154mph in my 997C2 which was good considering I was on winter tyres which are V graded and didn't appear to hold any heat.

Great day, thanks again Craig

Thanks for the great day Craig and Co

Blue Z4MC 162mph, hits the limiter just before it gets to the timing beams.

Standard E46 M3 (two up) 160mph

Very pleased with that, surely there can't be many standard E46 M3's gone faster than that, have there?

Although to be fair we started after bottom bend once we'd wrapped up photography down there. Would have been 122 for sure wink
