well I turned up for my first meet - shambles comes to mind .

as a track day/eve obviously a success and thats good. But it was advertised as a social meet afterward as well

So why advertise a bbq and then nothing . I must have spoken to a dozen people who had come for the bbq only after the track time .No one had a clue what was happening .

You should've come with the rest of us to the pub afterwards. Could've had a jalapeño pizza (with a bit of meat).

well I would have done if Id known which pub .

I did a tour of the local pubs and could not find anywhere with any obvious 'pistonhead' cars

That's exactly what happened at the PH Snetterton meet earlier in the year. frown

The way home more than made up for it. Motoring porn for the ears. biggrin

At dusk, it was great to see fire flames coming out of the exhaust of the cobra's at druids. Every lap. Regular as clockwork. Forgot my camera. rolleyes

Great pub and great company.
