GOOD NEWS UPDATE


I have liased with the park manager this morning and am pleased to announce that THE WHOLE OF THE RESERVE LIST ARE NOW ON THE MAIN LIST AND ARE OK TO COME


I have managed to negotiate some extra space with the car park and had a good chat with the manager and am really quite impressed with the efforts that been put into making this a decent meet. The car park have:

- Organised our own catering van for the area of the car park that will be allocated for us...

- Been in contact with the highways agency to adjust the traffic light phasing enabling us to leave easier and swifter...

- Made themselves equipped to assist everyone leaving the car park in an organised and well filtered way...


The entire list is at the foot of this thread and on Page 1. If you miss any updates please always check Post 1 as it is always updated with the latest info. IF YOU WANT TO COME and are not on the list please EMAIL ME,, I am still running a reserve list and will be able to squeeze a couple more in. Final list of attendee's will go up Friday 20th in the evening.

Ok Tannucats and AndySX are both out, so I have replaced them on the main list (Post 1) with Riot X and Mr Ed...

To all others who have posted or emailed me and not had a response rest assured you are on the reserve list...

EVENT NOW COMPLETELY FULL


I have replaced the drop outs above at 31 and 63 with Twiglove and Ferrari328 GTS. I have also added the next 5 off the reserve list onto the main list to make the total number 200 cars.

Unfortunatley that is now the event completely full - we know the weather is going to be cracking on the weekend so I have no doubt that the full amount will show.

Sorry to those that have not made it from the reserve list but there has to be a limit. The reserve list now ceases to operate. Hopefully those not on the list can still come along and park up somewhere else nearby so as to be able to join in at the car park. However I am not sure where there is to park nearby as this is on a main road with adjoining residential roads and country lanes.

See you on Sunday and don't forget some change for the car park machines

Arrival Times

The park opens at 0730 but having spoken to the park manager he stated that it would be useful for people to turn up between 8 and 9 in order that they have a chance to get the catering van in and generally set up the car park.

So I would advise aiming to arrive at 0830. The reason being that there will be some who arrive early and some late, so that should provide a nice filter of cars between 8am and 9am.

Hi Alex.. I read your post above and took it to mean you would like to come but were yet to confirm... possibly as you did not actually ask to be put on the reserve list?

Ultimately it will be up to the Car Park Marshalls to sort it out, they have been duly warned and in the past have been great, so none of this will be new to them.

For those that have not been following the thread,

The car park marshalls will not be using a check list, they will simply be monitering numbers and IF it gets horrendous only then will they start to restrict access..
