In case anyone needs to check:

Our noise limits are 98dba static test at ¾ max revs ½ m & 45 degrees from the exhaust and 87.5 dba track side drive by.

Will be running stock exhaust now, not sure the supersprint race rear silencers would pass the noise tests frown

Car booked into EVOLVE next week for de-limit biggrin

You SHOULD be fine, I'm running full supersprint system including headers and only at 98db. Mind you the rear boxes are street not race, might be easier to get a sound check than replace the boxes!

Hmmmm.... I'm tempted to get them fitted, would just hate to get there and they're too loud. Problem is, the stock system has to be cut and the rear boxes slide on, so there'd be no going back... argh... what to do ?!?!? :S

Must be somewhere you can get the sound level tested? Might mean you don't have to change anything.

most racing teams have sound meters, if there is one near you then go and see them, they are usually a firendly bunch and can test it for you.

I am going to get my cans repacked this week, they were 104DB static when they were packed but now back to 118DB so will not get into Brunty. I am going to have them over packed so they will be like airwolf on stealth mode
