Its a while since Dawset Dawdle Tree so I am proposing a fourth run round some of the Dorset lanes. The fact that this one starts in Hampshire and progresses into Wiltshire has little to do with it.

DD2 was on valentines weekend and so should DD4. Sunday 15th Feb is the date I suggest. Route here

Anyone up for it !

Could be, Bob. I want to take the Mrs away for a weekend soon to make up for a very busy New Year...so a night away in a nice Hotel and then a drive with a few other fine PH-stylee vehicles sounds good.

Can't promise just yet... let me see...but it'd be nice to see you and the Dorset crew again..

Bob,

Happy New Year! Hope you are well.

Depending on a few things which are going on at home hopefully i'll be there if I can scrounge a lift.

Fancy a Bournemouth meet at some point??

Route amended to remove the A338 - I meant to go up the parallel road - less trafiic

Also amended to take in a descent of Spreadeagle Hill - losts of popping and banging . This does however mean a second ascent of Zig Zag hill - An alternative route will be devised for publication on the day if it is decided at the lunch stop not to go that way again (unlikely IMO).

Meeting place is the Little Chef on the north side of the A31 next to the shell station. I reckon a 10:00 meet for a 10:20 departure. If you want a brekkie get there a little earlier so that you are ready to depart at the right time. I will amend the map again with stops once I have given it the once over again.

No dawdle for me this time, I'm afraid Bob. But I'll think of you as we hurtle across France on the way back from Switzerland.

Enjoy the skiing ! It looks like I will be moving north so this may be the last BTP Dawdle - I may organise a DD Whore but not sure yet - may depend on whether I sell or rent the house.

Where are you moving to, Bob? Is that north as in north of Dorset. Berkshire/Hampshire for example.

Or North as in where its "grim" ????

No really. 300 miles would be...Manchester/Preston way. Go on, do tell...

Hey Bob,

I'll hopefully be there - baby sitters permitting! I should have a secret weapon co-driver this time, too!

Jim.
