Typically it started raining just before 8, and stopped as we were about to leave after BMW had 'locked up' for the afternoon.

The sun didn't shine on PH today, but the BMW security team reckon there was 350-370 cars going on the number of spaces filled, so thanks again for your efforts.

Oh, and Dave in the PH shop gazebo sold out of umbrellas hehe

Big thanks to BMW GB for letting us come to their facility . A shame that the weather wasn't better. Went home at 10.30 to a cafe near home

I'll add my thanks to the BMW GB team who despite the weather laid on some desirable metal and gave a good breakfast!

Thanks also to the PH crowd for filling the carpark with interesting stuff - one look at the photos captures the theme.

Aw, I should've thought to buy a PH umbrella. It would've been very apt.
First SS for me was a bit damp but interesting none the less.
Thanks to all for organising it.

I was staggered by how many cars turned up even in the biblical deluge!

I notice neither the Ferrari California nor Scuderia turned up, eh Mark and Stu? biggrin
Can't say I blame 'em...

Great venue and BMW laid on loads of friendly staff to look after us.

Amazing price for a delicious sausage and egg bap too. Well done PH and BMW!

Excellent effort on everyone's part despite atrocious weather. Proves that the PH crowd is not made out of sugar biggrin

Thanks for sorting this out PH.

Despite the miserable weather there was some nice cars to nose around. I ran out of time to try and find you Mr Garlick, next time!

The roads around Salisbury were awful but I am glad I made the effort to get there.

Thanks once again.

Me and a mate turned up for about an hour or so. My mate is a real Audiphile and he almost creamed himself over the 2 two R8's there... especially the V10.

I really really really want a 135i coupe... I can't afford it though. frown

I was very dissapointed by the v10. Should have had it debadged which i normally wouldnt endorse but it just seems tacky having those v10 badges on the side.

Sorry to those I didn't meet. I did have 'Garlick' on the back of my coat and was the one wearing the dodgy flat cap hehe

Next SS meet is booked for December and will be announced (very) soon.....

Another excellent meet despite the weather, cheers to all who organised.

First SS so wasn't sure what to expect. Weather was British and aside from too few TVRs it was OK.

Cheers to all at BMW UK for doing this. And also for not taking the piss on prices for coffee
EFA hehe
