Looks like it will be the m3 rather than the Ultima. Just done the first 50 miles since engine rebuild and every thing is fine.

Engine builder has recomended against running max revs until at least 1,000 miles.

What are you waiting for? Thats only 150 miles per day between now and next week.

If you're not up for it, pass the keys this way and I'll do the running in.

Doesn't your partner have a Chimaera? Couldn't you bring that along?

Might be ok now. Had a bit of a fiddle and managed to get the bonnet to close properly so I may be ok depending when it goes in to be fixed.

And what about the list for passenger rides in your car Daz??

I'll have to add myself to that list

Funny you should mention that Oggs. For the first time I have felt the need to make a list due to always missing people who I wanted to make sure had a run. I am currently at 12 people that have never been in the car before, plus pdV6 who is my guest for the day (list made up of people who have asked in the past and people who themselves dish out lots of passenger rides at PH events).

Dazren can you add me to the bottom of the list sure you won't want to in the integra but I could take you out one day on the back of the bike and scare the living crap outa you

Are we going to have name tags, as like at VW, I didn't have a clue who anyone was!

I'd feel a bit silly asking for passenger rides when I didn't know who you were...

Name tags : good idea

Will put TimJMS on the CSL.(Which is now run in sufficiently for full - on spankage to proceed, BTW)

Its been hard work getting there, but the inevitable drubbing by the Brunters Massiv will still have bin worth it Its not the winning etc, etc

Anyone seen my old RS4?

Simple - if you want a blast in the Noble just find me, say "hello Joust/Justin - can you take me out in your car" to which one of two things will ensure.

1) "Yes - jump in"
2) You get given the keys....

2) generally depends on how well I know you

Hi chaps, I've been away fri until today so playing catch up at work. Will be putting another post up midweek to answer the main questions, but...in short:

1. Cheques went in on thursday

2. Balance to be paid in cash on the day please (£40 balance.)

3. Re any car substitutions, if you have paid & wish to bring a different car, let me know, no problem.
However, as Daz said, I do have a reserve list so if you are dropping out then please let me know asap.

4. Re passenger rides, initially runs will be driver & delegated passenger only (until the drivers are 100% happy with what they are doing in terms of braking etc), then passenger rides to other drivers after which point feel free to (politely) ask the drivers if they are going for another run to let you know if they have space. (the only reason I say this is mainly for the extremely generous drivers, Daz in particular who took about 20 passengers out last time & looked like he'd competed in Le Mans at the end!)

5. The rather tasty "mach vmax 15000bhp" caps will be available at £10 each on the day.

6. Ted, hope the car is ok

7. wayhay, less than a week to go.
