Had a great day out, thanks to everyone making us welcome in our very lonely vette! We were very impressed with all the great cars there, and the sound (noise?) some of them made! Sorry evo if we marked your car! The vette can't help stepping out and smoking those tyres now and again. Don't forget to call in if you're in Kingswood at the inlaws!

What to call the 28th meet...

"Back to Brighton"

I thought we were heading west this time to avoid getting separated and lost, not to mention being last (well almost) to the Pub.

Where are we going Roz?

i left the marina and had no idea what direction everyone had gone in. Just Mel in the griff behind me. Ended up in the wrong direction, did a U turn and drove down brighton front. Noticed HarryW had joined behind Mel, despite the fact I didnt know where I was going but he assumed i did. Next thing i know, take a wrong turn, go up to a roundabout to go once around and back on myself to see about 14 TVRs all following me - with me still having no idea where i was or where i was going

Mel rang me up to laugh at my expense and then suggested at the next T-junction i turn right and he turns left, just to see what those behind would do

Well I got stuck behind some doris in a Micra... lost the car in front.. stopped in the middle of the carriageway... waited for someone to overtake me... ended up coming round the marina roundabout for a second time and let you and Mel through...

...after about an hour I did begin to wonder if I was going to a pub for lunch or following you back to your house with ten other cars in tow...

When standing round Mel's car, who was it that said "have you got something to poke it with?"

I managed to loose all but one car after the tunnel entered the one way system and pulled over after what seemed like an eternity along came a small convoy and off we went again - we met a blue griff (one of the original convoy)coming into town from the opposite direction

a colleague of mine lives in Lewes and commented last night that there were TVR's all over the place on Sunday

I thought BigAl was organising a special tour of the one way systems of Lewes, he reckons he has found 5 more!

We can easily find a map from the internet and post the link here so we'll all know where we're going
Would be good to avoid confusion and chaos about where we're going next time

Cheers,
Byron

(Pics and videos will be up on a webpage soon , i'll post the link as soon as possible)
