May i suggest a nice run to the pub at the top of Devils Dyke?

It was my first choice for the Brighton Burble but MM came up with another suggestion for a longer run.

The pub has a fantastic car park and food is easy etc as its a chain with a very large bar area and a kiddie amusment area should you have any of the blighters.

The pub car park also gives the most amazing view from the top of the (large) hill.

The roads around it are fun too for a nice long convoy.

I agree, Mel! I suggested this to Big Al a while back as a possible good place for us all to meet.

We can easily find a map from the internet and post the link here so we'll all know where we're going
Would be good to avoid confusion and chaos about where we're going next time

Or do a print of directions from Autoroute to a PDF file? I did that for me and Mark coming down cross country from Hook to Brighton in the morning.

Finally put together a video of the south Hants route to the Brighton Burble 2, with myself, Mel, Shnozz, Mrs Carzee and Andrew driving the V8 Esprit (sorry didn't get your PH handle) see here.

Excellent video Harry, the first time I've seen my car on film apart from on a gatso.

A bit embarrassed about leaving my hazards on for a mile or so down the M27 - but as I don't drive a TVR I'm not used to them being on!

Had some fun on the Chichester bypass and A27!
It was good to meet you all (Harry, Clare, Mel, Shnozz). Thanks for stopping at the petrol station at Fontwell.

Hope to meet up soon.

Andrew

Good to see you there Andrew, I still laugh at the opening scene of the video where you can be heard as you lean in the car to ask where we are going etc saying maybe and then spending the next hour playing .
Very nice car btw, had to ask at the petrol stop if it was tweeked though, as V8 Esprits are not normally that quick nor do they sound like that , very nice.

good to meet you Andy - lovely esprit and sounded the dogs. Rather disheartening to watch the pace it leaves me on those dual carriageways.

liked the comment at the garage when I said the front of my car was covered in sh*t - "its probably Lotus exhaust fumes" - bd

Top video mate.

I had a great time. It's just such a good sight seeing a column of TVRs in your mirrors while listening to the one in front of you. Enjoyed meeting a few of you and look forward to hooking up at the next get together...
