Can't find an entrant listing (the whole website is dire actually) so this is the best I can do.

FYI, just received an e-mail from Silverstone, the date for club car entries passed on 30th June (yesterday) so thay are not taking any more club cars AND they have decided to stop issuing car passes for joining a club stand as they are full to bursting (well that and there is now less room inside the circuit since some works were done in there.)
So, if you wanted to join with a club - forget it. You now have to pay full price and park outside with everyone else.

Does anyone know when the tickets will be sent out? I ordered car club tickets through seetickets a while and am yet to receive.
Also - what sort of people do the organiser think will be staying in order to put quality acts such as Jedward and Danyl Johnson on the stage the Saturday night? Their fan base surely must be capped at 13 years old, hardly the core visitor profile for this event.

Popular event in 'we're full' shocker. So, if you wanted to join with a club - forget it. You now have to pay full price and park outside with everyone else.
As for paying full price, the discounted tickets have been available for months, as has the date by which they will be withdrawn.
Not really sure what the problem is here.

They usually come a week or two before the event IIRC.Zippee said:

I think it's deliberate. The petrolheads will come for the racing regardless of who's playing. They can then sell more tickets to non-petrolheads just to see ste like Jedward. There were certainly plenty of kids and parents streaming into the circuit around 6pm last year just because Blue or whoever were playing. Presumably they couldn't give a monkey's about the cars.

The downside being that there are no Group C cars this year - gutted.
No Group C races?????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'll be there most of the weekend, will be at the NSX stand when there's no good racing on, so if anyone's passing, pop in and say hi. I'll be the ordinary-looking chap with the goatee and the big camera (or two...).
Will also try and say hi to you Blib this year - tried to find you last year only to find out about your 'precautionary shutdown'!
Access to the rear of the garages etc is traditionally free and easy at this event and one of the aspects that makes it so appealing in my opinion. However, does anyone know what the story is with regard to pitlane access? In 2008 a few friends and I wandered through the race control gate into the pitlane in time to see the Group C cars coming in at the end of the twilight race - does anyone know were we just lucky or is this par for the course?
Cheers.
