Cars in the park (18th April @ Bolton Abbey)
Discussion
Thanks Chris for an excellent venue and good to meet a few Northern PHers. I hope to talk to a few more of you next time.
Had a good run out from York via Ripon & Pateley Bridge, even if both Peter & myself ground a couple of mm from the bottom of the chassis & exhausts. Excellent road even in the wet Oh and disturbed the church service by going down the wrong road. I got caught out on the way back and had to stop in Harrogate to put the roof on.
See you all at the next one
Bob

Most funny sight of the day...
On way back over the tops towards Harrogate, Minimax at last gets the chance to overtake the CLK Merc and goes for it big style, lots of noise, bit of spray..... and, just as he pulled back in, a blizzard of white paper flying out of the back of his car
Don't know what it was that you lost Tom but it didn't half make the Merc brake hard
Really lucky with weather, though had to stop a few miles from home to put roof on as I figured if I had to stop on the drive to get the garage door open the inside of the car would get even wetter!
Good day out - even Vicki said she enjoyed it, despite the cars Gabby says can she come to P.Fest as she hears there are paddling pools... oh, and anyone want a sausage? please!
Cheers again Chris.

Just echoing everyone else's comments - a cracking day and many thanks to Chris for making it happen.
Was really good to put some faces to names and big thanks to chim_girl for putting up with an extra car on the drive (and the tea!).
On the way back, our two car T350 convoy (us and the Fishes) was joined by a blue Tuscan for a little while.
TVRs eh? You wait forever to see one and then three turn up at once!

Sounds like you all had a great day out.
Bob, did you manage to keep up with Peter
Great day out and good to put a few more faces to names, trouble is my memory is as good as the Griff radiator at holding water.
I hope you roof off boy’s made it home without drowning, I’m not surprised you didn’t make it all the way Al, I hit some real heavy stuff.
Thanks for the ride James, well impressed and good luck for the season, I’m still picking gravel from my teeth.
Brilliant venue, Cant believe I’ve never been there before.
Cheers,
Simon.

Thanks Chris - execellant meeting for a PH meet virgin like myself to come to.
I've managed to convince the wife that a Cerbera is a practical family car - just need to save the pennies now!
(If anyone wonders who I was I was to be seen either sitting in the back of an Omega estate eating or wondering around showing cars to a 6 week old baby!)

Yes but he was going slowly so that he did not lose me.
It takes some doing to keep up with him, he was giving it some when he took me out for a spin!!!
Great Guy!
I'm glad someone took you for a spin, catch up with you next time
