Discussion
I thought I'd kick off a thread for photos. Here's some of the first lot I took before I wandered into MBW to ogle the classic mercs. A few more to come later!

I really liked that E-type, nice photo too, what lens were you using?
Thanks - always nice to capture a few shots of cars as they drive in and it was great to see a few classics there - I agree that E-type is lovely For most of the shots I was using a Sigma 24-70mm f2.8, usually with a circular polariser filter. The lens is a relatively recent acquisition and was a bit of hassle initially as the auto-focus calibration was off (I tested the lens on 2 other cameras besides mine, so it was the lens not my camera), but now Sigma have fixed that it's performing really well!

That Lotus Carlton with the open bonnet was superb. A real star of the show for me.
That would be my toy then, cheers. Had a really good day and again we were blessed with some glorious sunshine joining us at MB world just like last year. Thanks to all involved behind the scenes that made the day possible
Here's my final batch from the pistonheads parking area (still have the ones from inside MBW to sift through). I've not posted all my photos on here, so there are a handful more in the full set here. You can download high res originals from the flickr pages.
