Convoy time!

Last year we've met up with a group of cars at Clacket Lane services and had a lovely hoon down to the Wilton house sunday service, so i'm hoping for another nice hoon again this year.








The gates at Wilton open at 10:00, according to google maps Clacket Lane to Wilton is 102 miles 1:50 hour.

So if we meet at Clacket Lane Service for 7:30, to depart at 08:00 we should be nice on scedule. Local Essex/kent folks are welcome to join me for a small premeet at Thurrock services before heading off to Clacket lane.

What route are you taking after the m25?

I was trying to organise something from the Guildford so maybe we could join you further enroute.

Haven't sorted out the complete route yet so am very open 2 tips/suggestions.

Well im guessing you were going to do M25, M3, A303 so could meet you on the M3 Fleet services. Or we could have a more interesting route and go cross country if you come off the M25 at the A3 junction, meeting us just off the A3.

With it beeing a saterday it might be best to just stick to the main roads, so meeting at M3 fleet services sounds fine mate, how many of you are there ?

Offcourse, the more the merrier. I'm seriously hoping to get a good couple more cars, as last year was quiet a big convoy, not sure why we can't set one up this year.

Newbie here that wouldn't mind tagging along as it sounds like a good run. Would join up at Thurrock. Driving an R33 GTR. Hopefully not too wrecked from night duty though :/

If the convoy isn't going to be that big, I might not bother - I can't be bothered stopping in services every 5 minutes if no-one's going to be there!

Surprised, looking at the PH Saturday Service list that there aren't more on here. Maybe the times are a little excessive, seeing as the display of Supercars doesn't get underway at Wilton House until midday.

I realise it's better to beat the traffic though, but maybe slipping the meet times by half-hour to an hour would be better?


I will add my name to the Fleet meet though if this is still going ahead...

I'd like to keep the times as they are, otherwise roads will just clogg up to quickly with it beeing a saterday.

And by the time we've got there, parked up, had a bit to eat and a look around the normal and PH car park (which will have loads of nice motors) it'll be 12 and the supercars will arrive.

Just met my next door neighbour but one, who turns out to be 'Garlick' from the Website. I was wondering if there was a convoy heading down, so he pointed me in the direction of this thread.
He's got other plans of starting at 3am in the new 911GT3RS and other similar exotica, for a different convoy all together!
