Can I suggest you bring a comfy camping chair, binoculars, a camera and a brolly (that you will NOT need unless its to protect you from the sun ;0) as there is so much to see. The TVR catering is always top notch so do come and say Hi!

I took my Jaguar XKR up the runway yesterday

And doing so again today (Monday)

was a great day out, great weather, got bit sunfrazeled! Seemed to be less track cars there than previous years, but a good turnout, and well organised.

Car clubs seemed a bit lacking - EG not one TVR!

Had the Road Angel set up and that was the GPS figures

Thanks to seeing this thread we went there yesterday. LOVED the fast jets- Red arrows were awesome as always, the Vulcan bomber was ground shakingly spectacular. The Harrier has to be seen to be believed, and the Eurofighter was equally awesome. It was also nice to see the Lancaster on its own, sights like that make me proud to be English.

Any chance of a PH stand there next year? Already got the dates in the calendar lol.

The TVRs were out in force on the Sunday not the Monday. The catering was as spectacular as ever (even the pilots came over for some grub ;0) and we had a few Cerberas on the runway and a Chimaera that did very well up against a GT40 :0) Brilliant day but very breezy. There was one torrential down pour but we got through that and the final display of the day was in brilliant sunshine. Great to meet such lovely people. We'll be back in 2011.

Shame you guys were not there on the Monday, I even got a bit sun burnt! Would have liked to look over a few of those TVRs
