oggs said:Thanks for the 'heads-up' Oggs, I now know not to follow any of your directions on the way to Le Mans!!! Saying that, C3 GTK has not proved to be any better on stopping us from getting lost on the way there! So lets hope that Viant has got the route all sorted!!
If others want to join the Oggs tour then next one will be on the way to Le Mans Hands up

that reminds me i must get some more suncream
yeah, i sat down by the fence just prior to the Esses, so civilised - kegs of Cold beer to hand, big tv screen, gorgous weather, a spot of bloody good racing and lots of lycra....

Oggs you lazy git at home already
Did you get any video footage? Mind you i don,t think my car will be in it as we lost you.
We will have to have a chat re Le Mans soon.
Should have my camcorder windscreen mount tomorrow, so that will be 2 of us filming on the way down to Le Mans
I haven't looked at the footage yet.... been busy
I'm off out again to dig another hole soon, the things i do
Gonna try for a early one friday if thats any use.
It's all becoming clear now. I was behind the 360 but couldn't keep up with the leapfroging. I saw it indicate right just before a bend, when we got round there was no sign of it, but there was a right turn to East Haddon. I assumed it'd gone down there. Everyone followed suit. I saw West Haddon and Crick on the sheet so headed for there and missed the Hinckley leg altogether. (I've never been able to drive and navigate at the same time). No wonder I made the pub in quick time. I never saw another member of the convoy again. I tore through the rest of the route assuming you'd all be there before me.
Bit worrying though as I've planned our 2,500 mile route around Europe following Le Mans.
They don't call me 'Captain Compass' for nothing.
Vincenzo

Sorry for the indicating mate I have a habit of forgetting to turn them off once i overtake
Hope you make the next meet
Well you overtake so infrequently I'm surprised you know where the indicator is
Still fair play you must have been flying. I only had to wait a few minutes till you caught up at the roadworks
