We have had several of these in with stuck injectors actually have one in at the moment still can't get it out after 3 days of trying might have to get the same guy out with the correct puller we used last time. But well done to get the manafacture to pay out.

I own a 08 Reg vivaro with this same problem, just cut out and wouldn't start. I did some tests and Number 2 injector was out so I changed it, started the van and it ran then cut out!! I spent 3 days trying to find out what was wrong with it now, i checked the whole loom at the front but nothing!!! I towed it to vauxhall and hey came back to me saying it needed the other 3 injectors changing and that vauxhall were picking up the bill as it hadn't had any modification done to stop the water getting into the engine bay. It is 5 years old and has done 77000 miles with no service history, I was over the moon I even got them to change the injector I had changed as it was a recon exchange unit and I hadn't taken the old injector back so happy days.

well the van we had at the garage we managed to repair, after 9 hours and snapping the head off the injector I resorted to welding on an old drive shaft nut to the top to get some levridge.

Not a cheap bill but a lot cheaper than the £7k engine the dealer priced.

Here's a picture of the removed item, the sleeve we slide hammered out (not in the pic)

Nice!
I have faced that dilemma too many times myself and lets face it even once is too manybiggrin

I`ve seen a converted log splitter in a hauliers yard adapted with an air operated porta-power for this job on hgv heads.
It was even fitted with a slide hammer on the shaft for good measure,
The fitter reckoned it pulled a lump of Renault head off with an injector once.

Since this, we as a garage have now heavily invested in the removal gear and we now remove them all over the place, all the local main dealers use us now as believe it or not warranty are paying for new engines as they just can't remove them, that is till I turn up with my kit.

I was going to add to this, we have just been speaking with Vauxhall Regarding one we sold.

They are now replacing all the injectors, with labour, under extended warranty. As the scuttle panels have been proven to leak. You have to push them, as they won't normally do much about it
