When car has been parked overnight and i start it first time there is a plume of white smoke which quickly dies down. However when i am driving and i punch the gas there is thick black smoke. I mean thick black smoke i am actually embarassed. The car pulls and accelerates fine no perfoamnce issues as far as i can tell

However there is code stored in the ECU relating to camshaft sensor. could this be cause? That error code happened when i got a garage to change batteries and when i picked up the engine light was on
