Vectra C ABS/TC lights on, post wheel bearing change

Hi, looking for some help after carrying out a driveshaft and wheel bearing change on my Vectra C 2.2Dti 2004, non-IDS.
All mechanical work carried out with minimum problems, and new driveshaft/bearing fitted. On starting the car, the abs/tc lights were on. I drove the car and all felt good. I have reset the codes and now have the following symptoms:
Start car, abs/tc lights go out after a few seconds (seems longer than originally, but they do go out). Drive car slowly and test brakes, all feels correct. Slightly increase speed to 15kmh and apply brakes, and a strange feel is felt through the pedal (almost like pulsing) and there is a odd, grinding type noise from the front brakes. Increase speed to 40kmh, abs/tc lights come on and the pedal feel returns to normal, and brakes are silent. The lights will remain on for the duration of the journey. The car brakes in a straight line, and there are no mechanical noises to indicate anything is amiss with the new parts.
So far I have cleaned the sensor plugs - no change
Changed sensor plug for original plug - no change
When driving with the OPCON connected I can see the RH/LH speed and braking pressure. The LH (original) is a smooth line when braking, the RH (NEW) is a very interupted line, high frequency where the value drops to zero and back up again. The values of the speed sensor on both wheels looks to be about the same.
With the car on stands, the RH wheel turns smoothly, no odd noises. I am at a bit of a loss, my next thought is to replace the new bearing with the original (still complete and not noisy) to see if that cures it. Anybody else had the same experiences ?

Look at the reluctor (toothed) ring on the drive shaft and the tip of the sensor mounted through the upright/hub assy:
1) new ring may have wrong number of teeth
2) new ring might be missing completely
3) new ring might be damaged / split
4) end of sensor might be contaminated with debris (they are magnetic and pick up stuff!)
5) end of sensor might be damaged

As above, plus some wheel bearing kits are complete bolt on units with sensor integrated and just 2 wires/plug hanging out1) new ring may have wrong number of teeth

I know Astras are like that, not sure about Vectra
As with all parts...some can be better quality than others.
Update, and pleased to be able to close this thread. Removed the new wheel bearing last night, and gently tapped off the sensor ring, inside it was obivous that some of the plastic ring had covered over some of the metal ring, and this was causing the interrupted signal to the car. The material can easily be cleaned off with a stanley knife and a little time. Once refitted all was well, and the car is as normal. I would strongly advise anybody fitting non-OE bearings to check this ring, it will save you a lot of effort. See photo.
