Jerking / Total Loss of Power Audi A4 2.0 Tdi BLB
Discussion
So I was driving home last night in 6th at 70 mph, I felt the car had suddenly become jerky and as if there was no turbo boost.
I waited until I came to a stop so I could cycle the ignition assuming the car had gone into limp mode, it was from this point forward the car would turn over but cut out every time the ignition was cycled.
Does have anybody any ideas what this may be?
The car is Audi A4 B7 2.0 Tdi (BLB).
Thanks,
Update - The garage has informed the EGR valve and some of it has gone into the Inlet, luckily enough none of it has gone into the engine!
I'm not convinced if the EGR had failed that the engine would stall like it is

If the part of the EGR thats stuck is preventing enough air getting through then it's perfectly reasonable for it to stall straight away.
It's quite common when the anti shudder valve (looks like a throttle body) gets stuck shut to have the same symptoms, due to lack of air getting in.
