Naming and shaming rules? Manufacturer's name begins with an I, that should narrow it down sufficiently.
That's a phone, you 'tard...hehe

Ah fair comment, I assumed it was a car wobble It just goes to show how the manufacturers are struggling to make diesels work within the new regs though, it looks like pure desperation.
Apparently, many car manufacturers started with this technique of injecting extra fuel through the main injectors to perform the regeneration. Most realised the problems/limitations of doing it this way pretty quickly, and changed over to adding the extra diesel injector into the exhaust just upstream from the DPF. This obviously stops it from washing diesel past the rings and into the sump.

I have read online of rumours of engines blowing up, and like mighty kitten says, the dealers/manufacturers will just shrug and blame the owner for not keeping the oil level within range.

Was it about 2007 that 50% of all UK car fires were diesel Mazdas for this reason?

Probably an I-phone although that's the model rather than the manufacturer.

I suspect that the vehicle name contains the last letter of the alphabet and ends with "u".
