Ok, so I have spent hours scouring the internet.
Spent hours pulling apart and replacing engine parts.

Here goes, 2003 Focus, 1.8 TDCi Duratorq die-sel.

Runs sweet as a nut .....until.... it's upto running temp, then it judders at around 2000revs and a cruising throttle.
DMF is not great, but sure it's NOT the issue.

Now, obvious things done, Blank EGR off - New Glow Plugs - New MAF - K&N Air Filter - New Intercooler Hoses - New Fuel Filter - Oil and Filter.
Injectors changed with previous owner not many miles before and reprogrammed.

Turbo is fine.
MPG seems Fine.
Starts Well. [for its age [lil' over 100k.mls]

Hoses to and around intercooler and turbo are all fine, passing smoke test.

Been happily servicing my own vehicles since 1990, this is my 3rd diesel. Euro 2, [basic], Euro 3 [ Brilliant ! ] now this TDCi [rubbish]

Hot or cold, has great pull/ acceleration. HOWEVER--- slight whistle sugguesting still an air leak/ may be my ears deceiving me as I have Tinitus anyway ! LoL.
[2nd thought the throttle potentiometer [pedal]]

OK, So, My Turbo, where the INLET from airbox pipe connects, it does NOT connect directly, but through a coupler. The Turbo side has a clip connector, and the coupler fits on the outside of the Turbo housing. There IS a grommet seal inside, and when the coupler is fitted, there is some movement !! Could this cause a problem ??? Also, wtf is it called, as it seems not to exist as a part anywhere ! No one has ever written about changing this, or replacing the seal with their own juddering engines !

I am thorough at my mechanical work, hence I have come to this part.
Can I change the seal easily, or use some rtv to seal the thing on solid ?

Thanks in advance for any answers.

My Mondeo had that, it was fixed with a software update on the ECU

At that mileage and with symptoms descibed I'd be looking at the injectors. Mine did the same and turned out to be the injectors.
