I did a coolant change and flush about 6 months ago. Testing with a hydrometer shows the mixture is a little weak so not quite up to the recommended 50/50.
To save me the hassle of climbing underneath to drain, is it ok to syphon some from the header tank and bung in another 1l of concentrate? Will it find it's way into the rad and mix ok?
The car doesn't have a separate cap on the rad, just a cap on the header tank. I just use the cheapo 2yr stuff.
Thanks.

You're probably imagining a car water system to be a set of perfectly formed pipes in which the water gets pumped around the same way every time you turn the key, in reality some parts are relative chaos - more like a food blender, so mixing a slug of 100% anti-freeze up will take a few short minutes once the engine is warm.
