Wrong turbo E46 320D

The turbo went on my 320D about 1 year ago but at 87K that is kind of expected. Recon fitted but never made boost at low reeves and smoked. After a year of fault finding and the second time it went back it was found the sent me the wrong turbo. Should the warrantee start again from when then send me the correct one?

It should, but unfortunately it probably won't unless you specifically negotiate it. The warranty commencement date is normally the original invoice date, but you can try to negotiate it.
