Hyundai i20 1.2 petrol, 2 yrs old 7000 miles, solid flywheel afaik, owned from new. On and off, been doing it for the last yr to 18 months. It's my wife's car, I don't often drive the car so forget all about it, she doesn't notice it enough to let it bother her.

After 1/2 mile it's fine, so you only notice it pulling away from the drive, and then again pulling out onto the main road, give it a few more revs and you can drive around it.

What's likely to cause this? The cars due a service soon, so I'll mention it to the garage.

I used to get this in my Impreza; I might be wrong but it was described as 'glazing' of the clutch surface. I used to clear it with a tiny bit of clutch slip or an Italian tune up!

It's bloody annoying though; the judder in the Impreza achieved the impossible and made me appear even worse than I am!
