Supercharger rebuild advice.
Discussion
Hi guys, I have a Jackson Racing m62 roots supercharger - basically a Eaton m62 in comparison.
I want to replace the rotor pack ball bearings & rear cup needle bearings as there is play up and down aswell as side to side. Plus it was sounding a bit rattly on idle, no contact and everything looks good in the case.
Whilst trying to source the rotor pack bearings a number of companies said I couldn't do this job (( needed there jig to hold the rotors ))
I do get this job has to be 100% precise for timing, as the gears are just pressed on. If the rotors were scribed in position & the gears were scribed to where they were, it should be ok if I take my time and ensure every mark lines back up?
Has anyone advice if they done this job?
Thanks!
