I like that, is there a hint of E12 to the sloping bootlid? Also, is this supposed to be E12-E28 (i.e. gentle evolution), or E39-E60 (i.e. completely new design?)

I can't help thinking that the 6 pots won't be available with a manual gearbox though frown

As much as there will always be a time and a place for a manual gearbox, in a 530 isn't it anymore unfortunately... ZF box is just so good.

It's a pretty car, but will it not look a bit 2009 by 2020?

It's a lazy job for sure and it will blend in with other 8 billion 520d F10's - maybe not a bad thing?

That'll do, I suppose.

Have we not got bored of the "half painted wheels to make them look really flat" look yet?

That looks predictably dull. I'm sure the BMW fans will be masturbating furiously over it.

Meh exterior, interior looks nice though. Think I'd rather have a Volvo S/V90 in preference, all the same.

Looks nice enough, the steering wheel looks a bit golf Mk7.

Red raw mate. hehe

Vast improvement on the current 5, which I think is one of BMW's worst ever designs.

I-Drive knob is getting a bit large isn't it. Going to be like hurling a discus soon.

Is it not similar to the F10 where cars with pro media have a bigger drive with the writing pad on it?
