I've got a strip of beading that needs attaching to the wall (wallpaper at a 90deg wall edge is peeling due to it being at the top of the stairs), I tried to attach it with no more nails, but it did sod all, although being stored in the cold garage over last winter probably didn't help.

Anyway, is there anything better than pinkgrip for the job?

Or is this stuff the best of the best?

I tried it, had trouble getting it to 'stick', I think I was using it on mdf.

eta, I remember now, I was sticking some tongue & groove vertically onto the wall to form the back of an alcove, it would kind of stick if you really squished and moved it around but with the t&g you just slot it in and it's there so I couldn't really be doing that, and the pink grip was just forming these neat little pink pancakes that weren't actually stuck to anything. I went out and bought something else and that worked ok.

Apologies OP, but I have a similar situation and thought it best to piggyback your thread. Hope you don't mind.

I have a load of mdf skirting to fit and got given a tube of pinkgrip so used that. Wasn't impressed with it - not much instant grab - but don't know what to use instead. That CT1 stuff is £10 a tube which seems a little excessive just for skirting, especially with most of the house to do.

just used a load of Screwfix no nonsense grab adhesive for my skirting and architraves - stuck without issue, all for ~£1 a tube

Only time I had a Problem with Pink Grip or Gripfill was when it was gone off.

As said above, the No Nonsense stuff works fine as well.

'Fix-all', there's different ones but they're all very good. I use it for internal laminate window cills..sticks anything to everything. Creamy consistency and doesn't skin over like pink grip.

Pink grip is rubbish.

My carpenter likes Grip Fill £2 ish and it is a much thicker consistency than most other stuff if you have larger gaps to bridge.

Sticks Like is excellent but £5 ish

I'll have to try the no nonsense mentioned above.

For some reason I find pink Gripfill superior to all the others - I remember when they would only sell it to builders, otherwise you just had to use normal Gripfill or whatever.
Probably told this story before, but I was renovating a 4-storey office block (well, supervising it - I don't get my hands dirty, just tell contractors how to do their job and then get things thrown at me).
One fella was building a roll-in shower for wheelchair users, welded vinyl so no problem with leaks - but he was assembling it with 3/4" plywood and pink Gripfill.
I questioned this, and he just gave me a well-practiced withering look and said
"Sonny, if the pink stuff didn't work as well as it does, half of Belfast would have fallen down by now".
I left with my tail between my legs. And Belfast hasn't fallen down yet, 10 years later!

I will always be fond of Pinkgrip. Mostly because my accident prone mate stuck his shoe to a stepladder with it once, whilst he was half way up said ladder for a long time. It was hilarious.

I bought some mdf skirting recently at a builders merchants and the opinion from the trades that shop there was that this stuff was very good. I bought a couple but have not used it yet.

I went with Grips Like st Turbo.

Yes it was £8, but the cure time is 15mins, and the beading is now an integral structure of the house.

Pink grip is good if you have a massive void to fill like the back of skirting to a brick. Its good in 24 hours but takes weeks to perform at its best though.

I glued an uneven 1ft square stepping stone together with pink grip a few years ago after my kids cracked it in half jumping on it in the garden.

It's still in one piece despite their best attempts to re-crack it.

I was and still am impressed.
