New Alpina Seastrong Diver - Opinions

I'm a hopeless dive watch fanatic. Came across this yesterday and am really taken with it. What are peoples thoughts on Alpina as a brand? I've got realistic expectations at this price point.

I owned one - a regulator. Overall I would say they are pretty nicely made, though I don't think I'd pay RRP. They seem to be discounted quite easily.

I moved mine on fairly quickly - there is something about it, either size or shape, I could never put my finger on it that meant I never wore it.

You might like to look at NTH watches - hey make some interesting homage/near homage dive watches that are pretty good VFM. Some are too close to the mark for my liking but some are sufficiently different to be with a look in my view.

Had a look at one in the summer. Nice, but too big at 44mm.
