Looking to expand my home gym and spinlock dumbbells are annoying enough I'd like to get a reasonable set in a rack. Ideally covering around 15-35kgs. Don't mind getting the rack and weights separately, but I do want them to fit and not have my fingers pinched trying to get at the weights.

This might do most of what I want, but looks a lot cheaper than some alternatives:

Have you considered something like powerblocks?

I'd looked at selectabell. Not sure I'm keen, but the powerblocks do seem a bit cheaper.

I think powerblock are the most expensive for a given weight range, but they're the most robust.

I have exactly that rack and weights from that range. Both are excellent, and the rack is plenty big enough to add more weights as you need them. I can recommend without hesitation.

Plus even on standard delivery, it was with me less than 24 hours after ordering. Top service from Fitness Superstore every time I've used them. I rather suspect that if you give them a call, you can specify exactly which weights you want them to supply as well if the ones quoted aren't quite what you want.

I'm also looking for something similar. The hex dumbbells are cheaper than disc ones but I'm not keen on the shape and I've heard the rubber coating makes the room smell like lorry tires after a while.

Urethane ones are prohibitively expensive though.

I have a set of 41Kg each Powerblocks and they're the best dumbbells I've ever used.

Well, apart from causing a quad tendon tear two months ago irked

Can't blame the dumbbells though, I'm just not 25 anymore.

No need for a rack, 5-41 and changeable in seconds. Pricey though, mine were about 500 bones.
