Signs of a worn clutch/flywheel
Discussion
It is possible, but without an experienced ear to hear it and drive it....hard to say.
But you can be sure if it is scraping, it is damaging the flywheel. Although this would need replaced when doing the clutch anyway. So if it isnt a major annoyance and isnt slipping, you could probably drive it for some time yet.
It should start slipping before it actually fails completely though, so you should have some warning to hopefully avoid you getting stranded. Should....but no guarantee.

Be careful here as I have seen over the years many times when the release bearing as worn through the clutch fingers and they have thinned to the point of breaking off causing uneven release of the driven plate causing judder and noise scraping/crunching sounds, in this instance and often slipping never occurs before clutch failure results i.e gear engagement not possible because release bearing pushes though weakened and now broken fingers, last car with this problem was recent a late Fiesta

Two of our cars (one of wife's previous cars & youngest's previous, a 205 & a 306) were recovered as a result of ^^^. On both once the fingers wore through they grabbed the release bearing & ripped it to bits. Didn't do much for the fingers either & on the 306 it damaged the release bearing fork - fortunately I had a spare gearbox to hand to provide a replacement.Youngest's latest - 307 2.0 - started shrieking noises from gearbox area when pedal pressed & we did the clutch straightaway. Fingers almost through & the release bearing fell apart as it was taken off. Around 80k miles on the original.
No slippage on any of them & the driven plates were just about on the rivets on two of them. The 205 one wasn't that old (I'd fitted it) & a consequence of the driver resting her foot on the clutch pedal - denied but had been told often enough to stop & didn't.
Best one I had for slip was a Scimitar. 20mph on a slight upward slope, select 4th & floor throttle. Revs shot up, road speed didn't.
