Don't fix what ain't broke.

It's 13-14 years old,firmly in shed land.

Just live with it.

FYI 90,000 isn't low mileage, some cars are done for by then.

Bro in law has the same car, seems pretty standard thing for them to do.

I have a tdi 130 in a Skoda Octavia and whistles like a warrior. done 25k so far no issues, and sitting on 170k. it does depend on the pitch and type of whistle thou.

its just a whistle no grinding noise no power loss no smoke its when you rev and the turbo spins up as the one guy said i wont mess with it but may be if it get to bad i will take it off or get a garage to check for play.

if you look at the reviews on this car a lot say it problematic but i never had anything go but may be i been lucky you watch now it will breakdown tomorrow lol

my pf tdi, the engines are solid and robust, just make sure you are chasing the oil, oil filter and fuel filters on time or earlier. Not a lot but saves a lot of hassle and a piece of pish.. use fully synthetic pd grade oil as well, ECP have it.

i always change oil filter fuel filter basically the whole kit every year important on vw cars the only thing i hate is the cambelt life every 4 years or 80000 miles i never cover that mileage but still get the belt done
