As above, I need pinion/shaft for a Ford 8.8 diff - but it seems most places just order from the states so 3-4 week delivery - anyone got a source for someone that might have them on the shelf or at least a shorter lead time?
The other issue is it needs to be the 5.125 ratio which isn't really common for the drag guys that might have had some.

edit: sorted through PM, thanks!

I'd have a couple of used CWP sets, but nowhere near that ratio. That's mega mega short !

If Summit or any of those places have them in stock, surely you could 48hr it over ?

Maybe some off roader type place or something ? I cant see any road or drag application ever needing a diff that short.

and edit...I didnt even read the last bit biggrin lol

Yeah, they're the internals on the diffs for one of the Comp Safari cars - normally don't have much trouble with them, they're quite beefy:

But someone else replaced seals in it, and since the he's be running with the pinion nut loose and the couplers have eaten the splines so it's pissing oil out, so that was an expensive way of saving 20 quid over coming up for the proper viton seals...

It's not mega short if you're on 31-32" tall tyres biggrin

It's a bit less shiny and a lot more muddy these days.
