vdo speedo inaccurate

Does anyone know why my speedo is reading 10mph more thn it should and is it adjustable or just not compatible with my Type 9 gearbox? Thanks, John.

Well, we dont know what speedo you have, or what fitment it is. So it would be hard to say.

Universal ? OE ?

Is it fitted to a car, and with a pickup it was intended ??

if its universal, perhaps there is a calibration device on it somehow ? Or it must be turned at a specific speed ??
