Does anybody here know of a decent site for fault finding and help in repairing my vehicles. I have been on this computer all evening getting nowhere!!!!
My dax rush is stuck in France awaiting repatriation,(with an electrical fault)and now today my van has let me down.
The van is a 2000 Citroen Dispatch 1.9 Turbo deisel and it will not start. There have been no symptoms or warnings, but on checking there is no fuel reaching the injectors. The relative fuses are all ok. What I think is at fault is the glow plugs which have done 156000miles,and have been poor at starting recently. Now somewhere on the web tonight I read that if one of the glow plugs "shorted" the current surge would be recognised at the relay and prevent the vehicle starting.Would it be reasonable to assume the ecu cuts the fuel supply or am I clutching at straws in hoping that a new set of glow plugs will fix the problem?
Can anybody here point me in the right direction to fix my van so that I can concentrate on the important problem of fixing my dax when it comes home next week, please.
