QP V real pricing

I'm sure I'll get told to head over the SportsMaserati, so to head that off let me say that the reason for posting here is that there seem to be an awful lot of posters on there all trying to talk up the value of their cars and reassuring each other that "miles are less important than condition and history" and that "values are on the up".

I'm looking to get a QP V GT Sport Auto and trying to figure out what's appropriate to pay relative to asking prices.

Moderate miles (for age) 2006 QP V D-S seem to go for £12k-ish. I guess a Sport GT of similar age/miles should attract a small premium, depending on whether clutch is done or not.

Looking at various asking prices, seems to me that there is a £3k ish uplift for the Auto box (makes sense in the context of the price of clutch replacement).

Just not sure how to think about mileage - +/- £1k for each 10k off 60,000? Assuming proper service history of course. Then there's the "these cars don't like to be left unused" (not sure how the car knows) factor leaving me unclear whether buying a nice low mileage example is a good idea.

I do realise that's not how the market works due to scarcity but I don't have a better way of thinking about it right now.

It isn't particular to Maserati. No older car likes to be left unused for long periods.

I sold my 50k mile DS QP last year for £15K, it was one of the best out there known to forum member so they have probably dropped a bit from there now to say £13-14k. A Sport GT model will be around the £15k-18k mark depending on miles and condition. The later facelift GTS cars with ZF Auto go for far higher than that but would be an easier car to live with if you are doing city driving and also there is no clutch to worry about.

Thanks. I've come to the view that I'd prefer a QP GTS.

If I can't find one suitable within a reasonable timeframe (there seem to be two for sale now and they don't appear to rush out the door), I'll look at a Sport GT Auto.
